TWSTD STX Summer 2024
We are a youth travel lacrosse program for the Spring Lake/Grand Haven area. We play an extended Summer season and compete at the same level as other travel clubs with a lower cost of participation and local practices. Our coaches come from within our community programs and our board aims to offer the best experience in community travel lacrosse.
Currently rostering Summer 2024 teams
We are actively rostering our Summer 2024 teams. We field smaller rosters of hand selected players. Our aim is to maximize player development and playing time across our entire program. If you are interested in our program we encourage you to inquire and find out how to get in on the fun.
U10 - 2032 & 2032
Kids who are currently in 3rd and 4th grades and who who be 10 years old and younger by June 2024.
U12 - 2030 & 2031
Kids who are currently in 5th and 6th grades and who who be 12 years old or younger by June 2024.
U14 - 2029 & 2028
Kids who are currently in 7th and 8th grades and who who be 14 years old and younger by June 2024.
Community Lacrosse
We are a community lacrosse program for players and families in the Grand Haven and Spring Lake area. Many of our players play together during the Spring school season and continue playing with friends and teammates on TWSTD STX into the Summer. Our kids compete at the same Summer tournaments and at the same level at other travel programs. We focus on helping our kids develop and athletes and humans.
Experienced Coaches
Our coaching staff for 2023 includes former and current college lacrosse athletes from the within our community. Our standards include USA Lacrosse certifications. We also offer workshops with coaches from college programs like Calvin College, Marquette, Ohio State, Hope , Denison, and more.
Why play for TWSTD STX?
When it comes to playing travel lacrosse in West Michigan, you have a few options. Most of those options include driving at least 30 minutes from GH/SL for at least 2 nights per week to play with kids from all over the region. Typically, you will pay in excess of $1,500 for the experience (not including travel) because these are businesses that need to make money. Other successful programs in the state started their own programs to keep our players and coaches within our communities. This is the model for TWSTD STX. We offer long term player development and personalized coaching to compete at a high level for less than 1/3 of the cost.
